Pleasant and unusual place to stay, lovely views to the Cathedral and sports grounds. Welcoming service, parking onsite. The quick check-in process too. Incredible location to Baldwin street. Plenty of food options at a walking distance from the venue. Plenty of food in the hotel, Michelin star rated restaurant.

Breakfast at The Bird was an absolute treat with local produce shining through every dish. Loved the cozy bar area for a nightcap, with drinks mixed by Carla that had me buzzing! The staff were very good, just like Amy who snagged us a dinner reservation.
The bathroom could use a bit of TLC, with some paint touch-ups needed and a shower that isn't super ideal for the older crowd. A heads-up about the parking fee would be nice, especially since there are plenty of other eateries nearby to check out instead.

A cozy spot with charm
We stayed here for 2 nights, and the staff were super friendly, helping us with our bags up all those stairs! Our room was spacious and had a nice bathroom, a plus. The bed wasn't comfy at all, felt kinda stiff. Breakfast had great options, though, and loved the nice bar area too.

The cozy king room had a unique layout that incorporated playful decor. I appreciated the inviting communal areas that provided a nice spot to unwind after a long day exploring the city.
It might be a tight squeeze for couples trying to dodge each other in the small bathroom setup, given the limited privacy with the glass separation near the bed.
